Take His Hand

Life with all its up and downs.
Can very disconcerting be.
But take the Saviors loving hand.
And He will care for thee.

When darkened cloudlets loom above.
Just think of Jesus and His love.
Then darkness seems to fall away.
And usher in a brighter day.

It's better to walk by faith then by sight.
Be led by Gods wisdom divine.
And when our paths wind thru darkest of night.
That's just the time for faith to shine.

Gods light seen in us in time of distress.
May give someone else faith to cope.
By courage displayed by strength from the LORD.
Can show them in God, there is hope.

Each day's a new beginning.
Time to start a new.
While all the stars are sleeping.
And the rose is fresh with dew.

Dear Jesus, lover of all life.
Oh help me bear all the stress and strife.
For when life fails to hold my plans.
I simply take thine out stretched hand.
